Mission:
To connect Christians at the Farm so we can support
each other as we strive to demonstrate Christian values in all aspects
of our lives; especially within our work environments.
Initial Goals:
- Provide each member with a secure login from the homepage, so they
can view group information while ensuring confidential handling of
their personal information.
- Provide and regularly update a prayer list so we can pray for specific
needs of our work associates, as well as family members and friends.
- Develop and maintain a list of Bible study and prayer meetings held
within the workplace during lunch as well as before and after work
hours.
- Develop and maintain a list of Christian events in the area that
may be of interest to the membership. Examples include concerts, seminars,
workshops, etc.
- Provide an "idea box" where members can critique the web
site, both in terms of current content as well as suggestions for
new features.
Vision:
It is our desire to communicate to the members on
a regular basis via the email addresses provided by each new person
as they register. We will communicate regarding the goals listed above,
but also hope to gradually introduce other features as suggested by
the members. We may occasionally have meetings of the entire group,
but they will not occur on work premises. They would instead be held
at a local church as arranged by one of our members.
Important Notice:
The Christians at the Farm group
is in no way sponsored, supported, condoned or endorsed by or affiliated
or associated with State Farm®.
